PROJECTS - KER BOROOM BI (KBB) "THE LORD'S HOUSE"

KBB Additional Information

Ker Boroom Bi will be a home for an extended family that seeks to raise a generation that knows Christ and follows Him into the nations wherever God calls.

Ker Boroom Bi will show the love of Christ by providing children with a loving home, parental care and basic education including bible study and discipleship classes. It will also help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the many street children by providing for them a refuge from their world and at least two meals a week as the Lord provides.

The site for The Lord’s House will be located about 100 meters from the local grade school where about 200 children attend. This gives it a key location in the community and makes it noticeable by many people passing by on the way to school or to the market. The total area of the site is 400 square meters.

At a glance the project may look small, but it encompasses a large vision. Alfred and Bidemi feel that since God has given them the land, they must be wise stewards of it. Not only is it a home for 40 children, it will also have guest rooms for visiting ministers, rooms for care takers, a library for teaching and studying and much more.

The estimated cost for KBB is approximately $200,000 USD. While that number may seem overwhelming, we've come up with a formula that breaks it down for donors to really make an impact! KBB will  house 40 children, thus...

  • $200,000 divided by 40 = $5,000 per child to build KBB
  • We need 40 partners @ $5,000 each to build KBB
  • Once KBB is built, the estimated monthly expense per child is
$100 USD for food, clothing, utilities, etc.
