WHAT WE PROVIDE

We care for the children as we would our biological children. We provide for their education, clothes, food, shelter, medical, emotional well being, and religious education. Every need they have is met with our best efforts to provide for them - physically, emotionally and spiritually. While the children are with us, we are their parents and are committed to augment the future generation of leaders and disciples for our King and Lord.

Children

Jesus said to the disciples …. “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.  I assure you, anyone who doesn’t have their kind of faith will never get into the Kingdom of God.” Mark.10: 13-16 (NLT).

Meet The Children

Diatta Sene: He’s from a Muslim and polygamous background 16 years old, but official school age is 14 years. He’s always sick and not academically bright. But, after he accepted Christ on the 14th January 2007 and asked for deliverance prayers, things have changed completely. He’s now healthy and healthy looking, has passion for the lost souls and desires to be a medical doctor.

Diatta

Soda Sall: She is from a Muslim background, 17 years old but her school age is 14 years. Her biological father gave her to a senior brother as a gift. But before she was 7, the man died, thus she was given to a junior sister, through whom she came to our house since last year. She accepted Christ on the 8th April 2007 and since then been doing well in the Lord. She desires to be a teacher.

Soda

Lamine Faye: He’s from a Muslim/Pagan family. A half orphan, but after the father’s death his mother remarried but had no concern for his education. He’s 17 years old, but his school age is 12 years. He hasn’t made decision for Christ yet, though there’s hope.

Lamine

Fatou Ndour: She is from a Muslim background, 11 years old though her school age is 13 years. The transformation in the life of Soda made the parents to give her to us. She’s the youngest now, always timid to talk. She is one of our Bible-club children from the village.

Fatou

Emilie Sene: She’s from the Roman Catholic Church background and comes from a village 6 km from Kaolack town. She’s quiet and jovial. She is 13 years old but school age is 12 years. She understands Christianity and we’re trusting God for her salvation.

Emilie

Ousseynou Gueye: He’s from a Muslim background, parents are very poor. He is 16 years old but the school age is 9 years. He attended the children's Bible club in the village. Recently, he was not seeing in the class and when we took him to an ophthalmologist, it was discovered that the right eye can not see again due to damaged nerves. He will need glasses on the left eye in order to see. See Needs Page

Ousseynou

Agnes Seynabou Marone: Agnes is 11 years old, and comes from a village a few kilometers from Kaolack. She will be in grade five of the primary school. Agnes comes from a Christian background, and the desire of her father's heart is to see her grow in the knowledge of the Word of God. Thus, he has entrusted her discipleship to the care of KBB.

Agnes

Pape Seydou Sorabie: Pape is 11 years old and will be in grade five of the primary school as well. Pape's family is very poor. Thus, his family cannot afford to send him to school. Moreover, Pape is the grandchild of a Marabou from Burkina Faso that is based in Passy. This is significant because, culturally, children of the Marabou don't go to school, except the Arabic (Quranic) school. Despite this cultural tradition, Pape's father, who has been seeking a place for Pape in KBB since 2007, eagerly gave us his child to be discipled.
