When you love a child in Africa, you win the hearts and minds of their parents. Showing them the love of Christ will change and transform them for eternity. As it is written, "Love never fails", (1 Cor. 13:8)

 Our Beginnings
Alfred was 28 years old when he began to serve as a home (neighborhood) church pastor under a local church called Glory Tabernacle Ministry, in Western Nigeria. In 1993, he received a vision from the Lord, into full time Ministry. This made him to enroll in to a cross-cultural mission training (school of mission) under Calvary Ministries (CAPRO) in Jos, Nigeria in 1994. After which he became a full time staff of the ministry and served among different unreached people groups in the northern Nigeria for many years. Bidemi was a full time missionary with the same organization and by 1998 they got engaged and married 3rd July 1999. After many years of service under Calvary Ministry, in 2006, they asked for their release of duty and prayers. They founded Crown of Life Outreach Ministries (COLOM) and officially registered with the Government of Senegal in June 2008.
Our Vision
As both Alfred and Bidemi met in their missionary service the uttermost priority in their heart is to see the souls of men come to the saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ using contextual strategies to achieve this. From the onset of their marriage they both had the vision to see children raised for Christ who will turn to serve the Lord in the future.
In a tiny two bed room home they currently lived in Pastor Alfred and Bidemi have taken in eight children and care for them as a parent does. Crown of Life Outreach Ministries (COLOM) started its operation through this children ministry. Even in this small house their faith reaches far beyond the walls of their property and into the community. Though, they’re far away from their home country which is a week journey by road, and 5hrs by flight.
